The diatonic harmonica is no longer ”just” a blues instrument limited to a single key. By using bends and overbends (overblows and overdraws), you can unlock all the missing chromatic notes, turning your harp into a fully chromatic powerhouse.

How to Use This Tool:

  1. Select Your Key: Use the dropdown menu to choose the key of your harmonica (C, G, A, D, or Bb). The entire map and the musical staff will update instantly.
  2. Explore the Notes: * Blue Buttons (+): Standard Blow notes.
    • Orange Buttons (-): Standard Draw notes.
    • Green Buttons (’): Draw Bends (holes 1–6) and Blow Bends (holes 8–10).
    • Pink Buttons (o): Overblows and Overdraws – the advanced techniques for chromatic playing.
  3. Visual Feedback: Click or tap any note to hear its pitch and see its exact position on the treble clef staff.
